"I am a great enthusiast of wood products, it adds such a luxurious and warm look to a home which the fake and mass produced roofing products can't offer. I'm really glad that the wood industry has come up with a product that can offer this level of protection to their product. I believe this has been a great evolution to the building material industry". Brandon Meyer(Fort Worth, Texas)
Enviromental Overview
Today's sustainable forestry practices ensure a
perpetual abundance of Western Red Cedar from British
Columbia 's forests.
Substitute roofing products such as cement or metal
are manufactured from materials extracted from the
earth. Once removed they can never be replaced.
When cedar roofing substitute materials come to
the end of their service life, they become part of
landfills where they remain.
Cedar is biodegradable and a renewable resource building
material.
100% of the material brought into
the mill is used for either shakes and shingles,
pulp and paper, or fuel for manufacturing facilities.
